Cracking session giving me chance to try out new toys - 2007 versions of 6.4m Remedy & 3S97 which were top toys for me in 2006 editions .... just like two best mates being re-aquainted after some time apart ... no messing, instant best buddies once again ! If anything, the 07 6.4m Remedy felt even better than the 06 version, and I really rated the 06 Remedy !
Good to sail with my mate VFW Mark, who for various reasons hadn't sailed since early October .... big smile on his face today for sure !
As ventured out was bit of wind shadow on the inside, but as wind increased the windline moved closer to the shore anyway. Out the back the waves were a good size, and jumping was a good crack. As ever the 3S97 encouraged me to backside wiggle up & down coming back along waves / swell making out like I'm some super wave rider (honest, in my sleep I'm awesome !!!), even getting frontside briefly on the one wave !
Last year's 3S97 was my fave board, looks like 2007 3S97 picks up just where my old one left off ...
